EU Law Group on Stockholm

The EU Law Group at the City Law School met on Wednesday 27th January last to discuss the implications of the Stockholm Programme for criminal justice co-operation. The meeting centred on the ideas of mutual trust and mutual recognition and the potential problems arising from enforcement-led co-operation. Cian Murphy of the City Law School presented his thoughts on the matter at a European Commission / Centre of European Law Conference on Friday last and has guest blogged on the issue at Human Rights in Ireland today.
